The mission of an equal opportunity cell is to ensure that all students and faculty members have an equal opportunity to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits, regardless of their race, gender, religion, or other personal characteristics.
This may involve implementing policies and programs to prevent discrimination and harassment, providing support and resources for marginalized groups, and promoting diversity and inclusion within college community.
The goal is to create an inclusive and equitable environment where everyone can thrive.
The foremost trouble confronted by individuals with disabilities and those belonging to the marginalized sections of society stem from disabling surroundings and socio-cultural and monetary obstacles is discrimination. Discrimination against any individual on the grounds of his/her disability or bodily limitations and minority fame is a gross violation of universally frequent concepts of equality and human rights or even constitutional duties is a sin. Indian society is an institution with diverse population. Living within its clinch are numerous groups that are segregated on the idea of language, ethnicity, class, caste, religion, and many others. This inequitable state of affairs warrants a redemption that is feasible through Equal Opportunity measures and regulations.
