Wavoo Wajeeha Women’s College is started with the aim of providing affordable and quality education particularly to minority women. I’m privileged to serve as 6th principal of this esteemed college. “Education is a process of giving knowledge for a future job with life long process with creates an understanding of moral and ethical values to guide one’s life in the right path”. Our institute established with just 124 students has recorded exponential growth and is now a full-fledged educational institution with 71 highly competent faculties, aims at realizing our president vision to help young girls to empower and to develop their self-esteem, self awareness and self confidence.
It’s situated 2km away from Kayalpatnam beach in the midst of rich resources of palm trees stands as an elegant structure to enlight and educate young women with the team of highly competent teaching and dedicated members of the management to empower rural women and first generation learners by developing human capabilities through quality education. Discipline becomes the prime focus on campus to the extent.
The programmes and the activities offered in the college make young women become aware of the challenges in life and prepare them to face the future with confidence. Through frequent celebrations of major religious festivals on campus they learn to coexist and imbibe the significance of communal harmony and religious tolerance in this multi-religious and multi-cultural context. Having been an educator for more than 3decade, I keenly understand the pivotal, proactive role educational institutes play in today’s society. I feel honored to be incharge of this wonderful institution that moulds women who are the bedrock of our nation.
