RED RIBBON CLUB

The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) is a voluntary organization that works towards promoting awareness about HIV/AIDS and preventing its spread. It is a youth-led initiative launched by the Government of India in 1996. The primary objective of the Red Ribbon Club is to instill in the youth the spirit of volunteerism, leadership, and social responsibility. The club aims to provide accurate information and education about HIV/AIDS and create a supportive and empathetic community that participates in the fight against the disease. The RRC organizes various activities and events to achieve its goals, such as awareness campaigns, blood donation drives, and peer education programs. Additionally, the Red Ribbon Club aims to reduce the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS by promoting a non-discriminatory and inclusive society.
