The Consumer Club was founded after the enactment of the Consumer Protection Act in 1986, with the primary aim of educating consumers about their rights. The club serves as a platform to enlighten students about citizens' fundamental rights and to raise awareness regarding the laws established for consumer protection and welfare, as well as the concerned enforcement authorities. Through its activities, this club endeavors to equip our college students with essential knowledge and skills about consumer rights.
Consumer Club has the following principles.

For the benefit of the students, our College Consumer Club organizes a number of programs and competitions about consumer rights and awareness.
To educate students about their fundamental rights.
To educate students about consumer laws.
To teach students about consumer duties and market trends
To ensure goods prices are fair and appropriate with regard to their quality and value.
To educate consumers about consumer needs and the degree of protection provided to them.
To advise and protect individual consumers.
